New Leadership Team at Vienna Capital Partners
Since its foundation in 1998, Vienna Capital Partners has become a recognised corporate finance advisor and private equity investor in Central and South-Eastern Europe. Time has come to open the next chapter in VCP’s development, regarding both the organisational setup and the operational leadership of the company.
The separation of VCP’s advisory business from its direct investment activities has been completed. This was an important step to maintain the flexibility and independence of our advisory activities.
Heinrich Pecina, the founder of VCP, has retired from his position as Chairman of the Board of Directors and joined the Supervisory Board of the company. The day-to-day management of VCP is now in the hands of the next leadership generation, namely Christian Riener and Piotr Samojlik, who have been Partner for more than 10 years and will continue as joint Managing Partners. Heinrich Pecina will oversee the strategic management of VCP as Senior Partner.
The Partners of Vienna Capital Partners are convinced that the reorganisation of the group will secure its position as a leading independent financial advisor in the CEE and SEE-region. All of VCP’s Partners and staff will continue offering superior advisory services that facilitate the financial success of VCP’s clients and helping them accomplish their strategic goals with respect to value maximization and growth of their enterprises.
