Grupa Żywiec S.A. announced in the WSE Report that the Company and Chicago Poland Investment Group, LLC. concluded the share purchase agreement regarding the purchase by Grupa Żywiec S.A. of 100% shares in the share capital of Browar Namysłów Sp. z o.o. The base price of the transaction has been set at PLN 500 million. Finalization of this transaction will require approval from the President of the Office of Competition and Consumer Protection.
The beer market in Poland is constantly evolving with beer revolution keeping its pace and consumers looking for more and more variety. Browar Namysłów is a regional beer company with 1,7 mln hl of beer brewed in two breweries Namysłów and Braniewo. Namysłów has a long brewing heritage dating back to 1321. Its main brands are Namysłów, Braniewo, Zamkowe and Kuflowe.
