• VCP acted as an exclusive buy-side advisor to Montagu Private Equity on the acquisition of IAI Group, a leading Polish SaaS e-commerce platform
• IAI Group, headquartered in Szczecin, provides a comprehensive platform enabling mid-sized and large merchants to grow and scale in the evolving e-commerce landscape
• Since MCI investment in 2018, IAI strengthened its position as the leading e-commerce platform in Poland for creating online stores operating in the SaaS model
• This transaction marks another Montagu’s investment into the digital infrastructure businesses across Europe (following Multifonds, Harvest, ITRS Group, and Wireless Logic) and constitutes a milestone transaction for the Polish e-commerce sector with a strong signal of the growing importance of Polish technology champions on the international scene
• VCP provided Montagu with bespoke investment banking services including deal tactics, valuation support and other ad-hoc assignments
• The closing of the transaction remains subject to antitrust and financial supervision clearance
